Hotel Parco dei Principi Sorrento is located 1.5 kilometers
from Sorrento city centre. It is only 45 minutes to the Amalfi
Coast and a one-hour drive from Naples. To reach Hotel Parco
dei Principi Sorrento, from Capodichino Airport, follow the
highway A3 Salerno / Regio Calabria and then take the exit
out on C/Marc di Stabia. From there follow the SS 145 (Statal
Road) that will lead you directly to Sorrento. Once there,
just follow the directions to the hotel. |

The
rooms still preserve their original Gio Ponti design and layout
and are located on either side of the hotel to overlook the
sea or the gardens from their terrace or balcony. They also
have a telephone, a modem-fax connection, air conditioning,
a mini-bar and satellite TV.

Hotel
Parco dei Principi offers its guests both the peace and tranquility
of a totally relaxing holiday and also the entertaining and
electrifying atmosphere of the Sorrentine resorts for those
who prefer a more lively vacation. The garden is beautifully
laid out and lovingly tended, which preserves its original
Bourbon appearance. The large swimming pool is filled with
sea water. But there is an alternative to the swimming pool:
the private beach. The sandy shore or the rocks, the concrete
solarium or a relaxing interlude at the seaside restaurant,
with its seafood specialties, its continental cuisine or truly
excellent pizzas. All you have to do is choose!
The

by Ponti more as a "pond for wood nymphs" than as
a mere attraction for swimmers. He described it as a pool "...
out of which rise islands for the classical attitudes of Récamier
or Paolina, of female beauty; and from the water emerges a masonry
ladder to climb and then dive into the depths..."
