HOTEL DESCRIPTION
|
The
Radisson SAS Hotel, Klaipeda is located in the very heart
of town - most of its sights can be seen on foot, including
the Old Town. The hotel is about a 30 minutes drive away
from Palanga International Airport and 10 minutes drive
from Klaipeda International Ferry Terminal. Vilnius International
Airport is about 300 km from Klaipeda or a 3½ hour
journey by car.
The Old Town with its tight network of streets, enchanting
interior courtyards, German Fachwerk buildings and, above
all, the famous Drama Theatre and Square, has remained virtually
unchanged since the 17th century.
As a direct contrast, the Klaipeda of today is an exciting
modern city with an expanding harbour, large transit terminal
and free trade zone. Due to its excellent location and facilities,
Klaipeda, together with neighbouring Palanga and Nida, is
a booming summer resort. Visitors can enjoy the city's wealth
of cultural events and entertainment; many of these festivities
are associated with the sea, the most popular being the
Sea Festival held annually at the end of July. |

rooms are decorated in an authentic turn of the century
New England Maritime style. The hotel also has Business
class rooms offering a range of additional luxuries for

Pay TV, radio, direct-dial telephones, fax and PC connections,
mini-bar and hairdryer. Other services, such as 24 hour
room service and 3 Hour Express Laundry, are also available
upon request.

| HOTEL FACILITIES AND AMENITIES |
A
special arrangement with a local health club allows our
guests to use its latest range of exercise facilities. In
the morning, enjoy a hearty buffet breakfast in the Newport
Restaurant, a popular spot for early meetings. At lunch
and dinner, you can choose from the wide a la carte menu
of tempting dishes. The hotel lobby bar is the place to
meet for drinks, cocktails and light snacks until late at
night.
The Conference and Banqueting department is located on the
second floor and comprises two modern air-conditioned rooms,
both 50 square meters in size, which can be combined to
make one large meeting room. Full audiovisual equipment
and modern presentation technology is available in the hotel. |
