HOTEL DESCRIPTION: Strolling through Vilnius Old Town, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, you cannot miss the Stikliai Hotel. Housed in an old building with baroque and gothic features, the hotel stands at the intersection of five lanes in the heart of the Old Town, the former Jewish trade quarter, at 7 Gaono Street. A listed building, the hotel is close to Vilnius University, the President's Office and the Town Hall, and is surrounded by churches, museums, restaurants and gift shops. The hotel got its name from Stikliu Street, on which many craftsmen had their workshops in the 15th and 16th centuries. Glass-blowers (Stikliai in Lithuanian) also had small shops there, where they sold their wares.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATION: The modern, elegant and comfortable hotel meets the demands of the choosiest guests. The three hydraulic lifts, air conditioning and modern telecommunications fit in well with the antique furniture and art crafts, potted plants and fresh flowers.

The enlarged hotel now has 43 rooms including 11 suites, 2 connecting rooms, non-smoking rooms, all designed in an excellent taste. Every comfort is catered for in the individual design of rooms, including large comfortable beds, elegant chairs, beautiful fabrics and luxurious bathrooms. The most lavish suites are situated on the first and second floors. Some are decorated with the restored original mural paintings dating back to the end of the 18th century. The large suites are named after famous noblemen and grand dukes of Lithuania. The King Mindaugas Suite is the most luxurious and richly decorated, displaying individual attention to detail and style. It has beautiful furniture, comfortable bathroom with Jacuzzi and Turkish bath.

Each room is air-conditioned and features a mini-bar, safe deposit box, satellite and cable television, two telephone sets in bedroom and bathroom, hair dryer and has an internet access. Laundry and valet service and 24-hours room service is also available.

The room rates include hot buffet breakfast, all taxes and service charges. The usage of swimming pool and fitness room, billiard room and library is at no charge for the hotel guests.

HOTEL FACILITIES: In a brightly lit, vaulted cellar there is a sauna, fitness room and swimming pool, with frescoes on the walls. The library, card tables and chessboards, a poolroom, swimming pool as well as fitness room is free of charge for the guests of the hotel.

The Modern conference room for up to 60 people, located on the ground floor, is ideal for meetings and seminars. A business centre adjacent to the conference room offers a wide range of support services. On the first floor there is a quiet library, which has an Internet access. Our staff will help you to plan every aspect from original menus, special parties, to different sightseeing tours in order to make sure that your meeting is a guaranteed success.

tikliai hotel has a stylish Lobby Bar and ornate Winter Garden, with an old fireplace and luxury furniture, the old Tavern and the internationally acclaimed Restaurant, which offers an excellent food. Since 1992 the Restaurant is a member of Chaine des Rotisseurs.

The elegant Restaurant for 80 people is located in the courtyard, under a glass roof, where the guests can enjoy candle-lit dinners and the highest standard cuisine. Three banqueting halls of the Restaurant can seat from 12 to 40 guests. The banqueting halls are ideal for lunch, dinner and cocktail parties. The delicious buffet breakfast is also served there.

The vaulted cellar houses a restored Tavern, where traditional Lithuanian and European dishes are served. The atmosphere of the Tavern is informal and relaxed, created by antiques and Lithuanian country style items. Live music entertainment such as live folk music show and dances are offered four times a week from Wednesday to Sunday.
