HOTEL DESCRIPTION: The Hotel Metropole, Sliema Malta enjoys a great location minutes from a fabulous sea side promenade which is the pride and joy of the smart residential area of Sliema. It is just 15 mins. walk around the bay to St. Julian's passing by cafe kiosks, restaurants, bars, swimming clubs and Mediterranean life in general. At night time especially, St. Julian's and Paceville come to life and offer all forms of entertainment including the now famous Dragonara International Casino. The Hotel Reception supply all the relevant information needed to organize personal tours and book a range of excursions, including diving tours, tours around the Island and much more. Low cost airlines flying to Malta, make planning your holiday so much easier. The Multi purpose Conference Hall on the 6th floor makes it perfect for Budget Conferences.
HOTEL ACCOMMODATION: The Metropole offers singles, twins, triples and quadruple rooms and suites. There are 160 Bedrooms which are all en-suite and situated on 6 floors. Many of the rooms have balconies and those which overlook the main street are large and enjoy a side view of the sea. Others have smaller balconies while others still are inner looking and differ in size from single rooms to triple or quadruple ones. A Suite is also available.
HOTEL FACILITIES: Le Soleil, the large buffet restaurant situated alongside the reception is adorned with attractive murals and wide French windows, a combination which create a bright cheery atmosphere. Outside the restaurant and on the other side of the reception desk is the lobby with seating around a fire place and a few stairs that lead up to Le Metro Bar. It opens each evening and throughout the day during the winter and shoulder seasons. On the Roof, there are 3 Sun-Decks and Splash Pool. There is also a pool bar and lunchtime grill open all day during the Summer and during the evenings in the peak season. Showering facilities and sun-loungers are provided free of charge. The Hotel Metropole takes a professional approach to organizing Budget Conferences and Meetings and boasts a Manager dedicated to this task who is supported by a team of Duty Managers throughout any event. The main Conference Room is the Tower Suite on the 6th floor which is fully air-conditioned. It is well equipped and has black out facilities, it can be adapted to meet any requirements and has an adjoining pantry exclusively for the requirements of that meeting. Break out rooms are available and meals may either be taken in the same suite if numbers allow, the main restaurant which can be used privately at lunch times or in the Dingli Suite on the first floor. A wide range of events have been catered for from residential conferences with simultaneous translation to day meetings, training sessions, product launches, seminars and presentations.
