Palazzo King Suites The Prince Charles of Capua Suite named after the Bordon Prince of Capua who took up residence at the Palace together with his wife Penelope. The Prince Francesco Suite named after Prince Francesco, who was the Prince and Princess’s first-born son at Palazzo Capua.
Palazzo Queen Suites The Selma Suite Selma Hall is the name originally given to the Palace by Biagio Tagliaferro, when it was first built in the 1830s. The town’s name of Sliema is believed to have been at the source of name “Selma”. The Tagliaferro Suite This suite is named after the Palace’s original landlord, Biagio Tagliaferro, a prominent banker, who is also accredited with the construction of this palatial villa. The Princess of Penelope Suite The Prince of Capua eloped and married the beautiful Irish Penelope Smyth which caused him to be exiled by his brother King Ferdinand of the Two Sicilies; thus the name of The Princess of Penelope Suite.
