The Grand offers you the Comfort and Luxury of a world-class Hotel. Ideally located in the heart of Amsterdam's historic center, set between two picturesque canals, just a stone's throw away from the key financial institutions, famous Dam Square and just twenty minutes from Schiphol International Airport.

The Grand offers 166 guestrooms and suites with either canal or inner courtyard view. All guestrooms are air-conditioned, with an in room-safe, satellite television, mini bar and data port for modem connection.

High ceilings and huge windows are a feature of almost all the rooms giving an additional sense of light and space to what are already some of the largest hotel rooms in Amsterdam. Decorated by Monique Roux in a chic Anglo-French style in colours of salmon or blue with bold stripes or floral prints, each guestroom has beautiful heavy drapery with custom made light wood inlaid furniture.

The collection of 16 one, two and three bedroom apartments are luxuriously furnished and decorated, different in style and are available for lets of just one day up to one year. Apart from all the service offered in the rooms, the apartments also feature a drawing room and a fully equipped kitchen. There are two private telephone lines and all apartments have a facsimile connection.

RESTAURANT: Under the consulting guidance of Britain's most famous Maître De Cuisine Albert H. Roux, Café Roux offers a variety of French dishes using the freshest ingredients. The restaurant, located on the ground floor, has an informal 'brasserie' atmosphere with oak floors and art deco interior design. It overlooks one of Amsterdam's most picturesque canals and has a private street entrance. Café Roux accommodates up to 75 people for breakfast, lunch and dinner. A large selection of pastries produced from The Grand 's own patisserie is also available.

FACILITIES: 'The Spa at The Grand' provides the perfect end to a hectic day of business or pleasure. All guests are allowed to fully use the spa with its heated swimming pool, whirlpool, sauna, steam room and fitness equipment.

A total of 19 bnquet rooms is also offered equipped with ultramodern technical facilities.
