Location : Newcastle, County Down, is in the south-east of Northern Ireland, 30 miles South of Belfast on the A24 and 90 miles North of Dublin. The hotel is situated on the Irish Sea coast within 6 acres of private grounds, on the shores of Dundrum Bay and faces south to the Mountains of Mourne, with glorious views across Royal County Down Golf Course to the north – just on the edge of Newcastle town itself. The nearest railway station is in Newry (23 miles away), which operates services to both Belfast and Dublin.

The Lighthouse Lounge is situated beside the Spa, with magnificent views over the bay towards the Mountains of Mourne. Hotel residents can also visit the Horizon Juice Bar within the Spa, which serves a wide variety of healthy and fresh juices, smoothies and light snacks all day.
The Percy French Inn is an atmospheric pub-style bistro, set within the hotel grounds. This is a popular more informal venue for a pub lunch or evening meal, or perfect for a pint by the fireside! Open from 11.30am to midnight daily, with food served from 10.30am – 9.45pm.
