HOTEL ACCOMMODATION: Even if you don’t plan on spending much time in your hotel room, it is important to us that you enjoy the time you do spend there. The Neptun Hotel has 124 rooms, 21 of which are suites.

The rooms vary greatly in terms of shape and furnishings, but they are nearly all large and spacious with sumptuous bathtubs. One little curiosity is that all the rooms at the Neptun Hotel have names, so perhaps next time you stay with us you would like to stay at ”Floyen”? 

Standars rooms
The Neptun Hotel offers a wide range of hotel rooms, ranging from artists’ suites, superior and family rooms to standard single and double rooms.
Common to all categories of rooms is our wish for each room to have an individual character, and to be spacious and contain all the amenities that our guests expects to find in a full-service hotel. We also offer free wireless broadband in all our rooms.

Artists’ suites 
The Neptun is known as an art and culture hotel, and on that basis we have chosen to furnish five special artists’ suites named after the following great Norwegian artists:
Dagfinn Knudsen, Inger Sitter, Kjell Nupen, Jacob Weidemann and Ferdinand Finne.
 
All of these junior suites have been individually furnished using the works of art that decorate the suites as a starting point, and they contain those "little extras" that helps make your stay a memorable one. 
In addition to the artists’ suites, the hotel offers various types of junior suites - all of which are spacious and tailored to the needs of those who wish to spend leisure time in their room or to work there. The suites have a sofa or armchairs and a desk, a separate bedroom section and an elegant bathroom.
The wedding suite
We recommend a stay in the wedding suite at the Neptun for couples who want that little extra. We will welcome you with sparkling champagne in beautiful, romantic surroundings, you wake up to a lovely breakfast served in the room and you can enjoy a relaxing Jacuzzi after the biggest day of your lives.

HOTEL FACILITIES: The restaurant hotel: The Neptun Hotel has two excellent in-house restaurants. On the first floor is the gourmet restaurant Lucullus – known for its classic French cuisine and excellent wine menu. Lucullus is the natural choice if you want to eat well in Bergen. The restaurant has received top marks from national newspaper VG’s restaurant guide, and is proud to present its own quality brands of salmon, cod and halibut. The restaurant is also part of the "Taste the Coast" network. Pascal Mat & Vin is on the ground floor. This is a more informal Continental-style bistro, which serves delicious lunches and has an exciting à la carte menu. This is also the place to enjoy a glass of wine or a cappuccino. Ludvig Vin & Champagnebar is the Neptun’s well-known bar, named after the artist Ludvig Eikaas. Ludvig is a popular place both to meet for a cup of coffee during the day and to spend an evening out.

Restaurant Lucullus: Our award-winning gourmet restaurant Lucullus is based on the French cuisine, and focuses on local products and its own quality brands. Beautiful Venetian chandeliers, elegant wallpapers and a trendy interior combined with fresh flowers, candles, silverware and crystal contributes to creating the pleasant atmosphere of Bergen's number one gourmet restaurant. Lucullus is famous for its first-class cuisine and excellent wine menu, and it is the natural choice for many businesses entertaining clients, for private celebrations and, not least, for those merely seeking a culinary experience. Lucullus is one of the first Norwegian restaurants to offer its own quality brands of salmon and halibut. It is also part of the "Taste the Coast" restaurant network. The restaurant also has a private dining room for parties of up to 50 persons if you wish to have a more private setting for your meal.

Pascal Mat & Vin Pascal differs from its more elegant big brother Lucullus in its trendier, Continental style. A vibrant ”drop-in” restaurant in French bistro style. The combination of food, wine, interior and service makes a visit to Pascal much more than just a nice restaurant meal.

Ludvig Vin & Champagnebar: Ludvig is the place for most occasions! A quick coffee-to-go is popular among the many people who work or study in the area, while others drop by for a nice cup of tea, a refreshing smoothie or a delicious croissant before fetching the car from the Klostergarasjen parking facility. Ludvig is also ideal for more informal meetings with colleagues - wireless internet is available free of charge. In the evenings, the bar offers elegant drinks and respected brands in bottles and glasses, and as the name suggests, Ludvig has a particular focus on offering a wide selection of the ultimate nectar: Champagne. If you are feeling a little peckish, the Neptun will of course do its best to live up to its reputation for good food. The kitchen offers delicious tastes that go well with whatever you are drinking... tapas, olives, a selection of cheeses, or maybe just a few appetising petit fours?

Functions: Welcome to a hotel and a functions department that has played a prominent part in the city’s life for more than 50 years. Our functions department has two large and three smaller function rooms with room for up to 120 guests. We can organise everything from corporate functions to anniversaries, wedding receptions and Christmas parties. No two functions are the same, and we can organise a function in many different ways. Tell us the purpose of your function, and we can find the form and style that suits your special event.

CONFERENCE HALL: The Neptun Hotel offers course and conference facilities of different sizes for different needs. At the Neptun, you can enjoy one of Bergen’s largest collections of modern and contemporary art, and parts of the collection are on display in our course and conference facilities. All our conference rooms have free wireless broadband and other technical equipment expected in a modern full-service hotel. You can gather anywhere from 2 to 80 persons under one roof in the heart of central Bergen.
