There are safes both at the front office and in the rooms, baby-sitting on request, boutiques, 24-hour room service, a helpful and apparently omniscient concierge, medical assistance, newspapers and magazines, laundry and dry cleaning. For that work that simply has to be done there is a Business Centre open 24 hours a day that offers a computer with internet access (free of charge) with printer (free of charge), photocopier, a fax and, on request, secretarial and translation services (at additional cost). Wireless internet access is also available in the public areas and rooms at an additional cost.
The outdoor swimming pool is framed by the beautiful and tranquil gardens. Kept at 28º Celsius in the summer and 30º Celsius in winter, it’s always a pleasure to take a dip. During spring and summer you can make the most of this scenic setting and enjoy Le Pavillon Restaurant’s delicious range of drinks and light meals by the pool.
There is also a health and fitness area, and the indoor heated pool, sauna, Turkish bath and fully equipped gym are free and exclusively for use by guests at the Lapa Palace. The gym has recently been re-equipped, features cardio and weight training and is open from 06:00 to 22:00. The naturally lit indoor pool is kept at 28º degrees the whole year and, like the sauna and unisex Turkish bath, is open from 08:00 to 20:00 daily. Energising natural essence of Eucalyptus and other aromatic oils make the sauna and Turkish Bath experiences all the more special.
