The Madeira Regency Palace is peacefully situated on the outskirts of Funchal. The historic centre with its numerous sightseeing attractions can be reached by the hotel's courtesy bus. The hotel is surrounded by magnificent tropical gardens, featuring lakes, waterfalls and an abundance of exotic flora.
Driving Directions: From International Santa Catarina Airport, follow the main road (‘Via rapida’) west to Funchal. Drive through the city following signs to the ‘Lido Area’ and continue for about 2 km on the ‘Estrada Monumental’ in direction of Câmara de Lobos. You will see the hotel on the left hand side, just when you get the view of the impressive south west coast line.
