Pestana Carlton Madeira Hotel is situated in one of the finest

walking distance to the city center.
It is built on a cliff with spectacular views over the Bay of
Funchal and offers its guests direct access by elevator to the

Pestana Carlton Madeira Hotel has a total of 375 rooms and
suites. The majority of the rooms have sea view and all rooms
have balconies or terraces: all other rooms offer an island/mountain
view.
All rooms are equipped with a private bathroom with bath and
shower and separate toilet, balcony or terrace, radio, cable
TV and direct dial telephone, air conditioning, minibar and

HOTEL FACILITIES AND AMENITIES
RESTAURANT & BAR: For
entertainment at night there are shows and theme evenings including
Madeira Evening, local specialties with Madeiran folk dances and
Barbecue Nights. During summer they offer a BBQ around the Garden
Pool with a dance show. Dinner shows include an international
floorshow with a five-course dinner menu.
The Taverna Bar has live entertainment and dancing with live music
every night except Thursday. O Farol is the best disco in town
featuring music from the 60’s to the hits of today and is
open on Fridays and Saturdays. Os Arcos has international and
national cuisine with weekly changing entertainment programs (theme
evenings / show nights).

FACILITIES: For
your enjoyment the hotel has 2 swimming pools with separate
children’s pool on two different levels edged by luxurious
sundecks, 1 tennis court with tartan surface and flood lighting
and mini-golf in hotel gardens. Windsurfing with boards of
different sizes are available.
The Hotel has Scuba diving base / diving school and a decompression
chamber. There is also a newly opened indoor swimming pool,
gymnasium and sauna, solarium, steam bath and Jacuzzi. Our
specialized staff offers a number of wellness beauty treatments
and therapeutic massages. Low fat calories and low salt menus
