- “Atlantic Gardens” – Serving Buffet Style Breakfast and Half Board Dinner (shorts are not allowed at dinner)
- “Tucano Bistro” – open for lunches and dinners, serving “à la carte” menu (snacks during the day).
- Half Board only available for dinner; credit available for “Tucano Bistro” if required (substitution of Buffet dinner by lunch or dinner “à la carte”
- Vegetarian and diabetic diets can be catered on request
- Early suppers for children can be arranged
- Free highchairs for children available only in restaurants
BARS
- “Sunset Bar” (new) – open all year around
- “Tucano bar” – open all year around
- “Pool bar” – in the middle of the swimming pool (open only in Summer)
PESTANA DINE AROUND & LEISURE CARD
This card can be used in three different ways:
- As a Hotel Identity Card
- As a Direct Charge Account Card
- As a Discount Card
The Pestana Dine Around & Leisure Card can be used in all bars and restaurants of the Pestana Group in the Algarve area. Charges will be made automatically to the guests hotel room account.
ENTERTAINMENT
- Evening Entertainment Program: live music and shows in the Tucano Bar every night (including dancing) and live piano music in the Sunset Bar (once a week)
- During day time – there are several free activities such as volleyball, water gymnastics, french petanque, portuguese lessons, paintings, (walks on the cliffs or cookery demonstrations – vary accordung to the time of the year)
- Games Room: table tennis, giant floor chess, playing cards (for free); snooker table, video games and golf simulator (payable)
- Children’s Playground (not supervised)
- Club “Pestana Kids” – for children aged 4/12 years, based at the Dom João II Hotel, supervised, with varied activities, courtesy bus collects and returns twice daily; option of meals – (open from April until October)
SPORTS
- Large outdoor sea water swimming pool (not heated) with a central bar that can be reached by footbridge and a swim-up bar; sunbathing area with sun beads, parasols and towels
- Small indoor swimming pool – with sea water (heated)
- Small children’s pool
- Beach has a concessionary sunbed area, privately managed - (Summer only. Direct payment)
- Water sports facilities available nearby – (Summer only. Direct Payment)
- Health Club: with fitness center, body building machines, sauna, turkish bath, scottish shower with lateral jets, jacuzzi, massages, shiatsu massage, beautician and hydrotherapy – payable
- Golf: extended golf facilities, wich include golf courses – total option of 15 Golf courses, two being owned by the hotel group and 5 within an area of 15 kms.
- Driving range: tokens and clubs available at the reception. Golf lessons available (payable)
- Tennis : 7 courts, 5 of wich are clay and 2 hard courts (payable) – rackets to hire, balls to sell. Lessons available.
