Pestana Miramar Hotel is only a few minutes from the Funchal city
centre, enjoys superb panoramic views across the Bay of Funchal
and the amphitheatre of mountains which surround the city. Madeira’s
International Airport is 25 minutes by car from the hotel.

ROOM FEATURES
The
Pestana Miramar Hotel has 58 apartments (45 studios, 9 junior
suites and 4 suites) with beautiful views either towards the bay,
to the garden and pool inside the complex or towards the mountains
overlooking Funchal.
All apartments are fully equipped with a kitchenette (except the
4 suites in the old building), private bathroom with tub, shower
and hair dryer, radio, cable TV, telephone with direct outside
line, safe (rental) and a balcony.

HOTEL FACILITIES AND AMENITIES
Hotel
services include as outside heated swimming pool with separate
area for children, interior heated swimming pool, hairdresser,
game room with two pool tables, games room for children, shops,
health club with gymnasium, sauna and Jacuzzi. These services
are free for hotel guests.
They also offer a massage service. Outside activities you might
want to look into are big game fishing, sailing excursions, boat
excursions along the coast or to Porto Santo Island, bus excursions
around the island, Carnival Parade, Flower Festival, Gastronomic
Festivals, two golf courses (27 holes and 18 holes) and visits
to the museums and places of interest.
HOTEL FACILITIES: The
Pestana Miramar Hotel has a beautiful à la Carte restaurant
offering Mediterranean gastronomy. This attractively decorated
room is unique in that it offers six different seating areas each
with its own character and ambience. There is also a Madeiran
tavern (Churrascaria) offering dishes typical of the region, an
Italian Pizzaria and a barbecue grill specializing in meat and
fresh fish with a variety of salads from the buffet.
The swimming pool bar offers a wide range of refreshing tropical
drinks and the Cocktail Bar, within the old building offers a
more relaxing atmosphere to the sound of piano music. A doctor
is available on call 24 hours daily. A Car Hire office is located
in the Pestana Miramar Hotel. Guest laundry and parking is available
at the hotel.
