HOTEL DESCRIPTION: Helvetia Hotel was opened in 2003, in a mansion built in the XVIII century and reconstructed in the middle of the XIX century by the famous Petersburg architect Augusto Lange, which in 1871 became a Swiss citizen. Helvetia is one of the names of Switzerland, which proceeds from ancient tribe – Helvetians. After restoration and reconstruction of the architectural complex in 1999- 2003, it became “a piece of Switzerland” maintaining noble signs of Petersburg style. Entering through splendid forged gates, you come to a restful and comfortable Petersburg court, which justifiably can be called a heart of out hotel. Hotel interiors are well balanced with the unique, Elizabethan-baroque type façade. In summer, open-air performances are organized in the enclosed court of the hotel forming a cycle called Helvetia Music. Our partners and guests are welcome to see the true value of modern Swiss art, as well as talented Russian and European creative teams.
HOTEL ACCOMMODATION: All rooms are decorated in a classical style with modern or baroque elements. You will find full comfort and casual elegance throughout the hotel’s classical guest rooms.Each room of the hotel is a place to feel at home from the moment you walk into it. All the rooms have hardwood flooring, new comfortable furniture, tiled spacious bathrooms, TV and WiFi.All rooms are conveniently located in three buildings of the hotel complex. Bellhop service is provided to escort you to the room through our beautifully decorated hotel courtyard. The following room types are available: ty toiletries, fluffy towels and slippers. TV, hairdryer, tea/coffee facilities are provided.
HOTEL FACILITIES: Marius is a beer restaurant featuring European cuisine and a relaxed atmosphere. Marius offers an amazing selection of beers, and wine lovers are always pleased, too. There is a wide choice of starters, Eisbein with Buckwheat Kasha and Vegetables, meter Swiss sausages and Stewed Leg of Lamb with Rosemary - just the right accompaniments to good beer. From noon till 16.00 every weekday we offer you a delicious business lunch for just 390 RUR. Marius restaurant is open round-the-clock.
