HOTEL DESCRIPTION: Located in the heart of Scotland's capital city on the historic Royal Mile, the Radisson Blu Hotel Edinburgh is within a five minute walk of the main shopping and business districts and the EICC is just a short taxi ride away. HOTEL ACCOMMODATION: Our hotel offers 238 rooms including Business Class Rooms, Classic Suites and Turret Suites. All rooms are contemporary, comfortable and relaxing, reflecting the individuality of the hotel and its unique location.Each room displays specially commissioned artworks by a local photographer. The black and white images show contemporary and unusual shots of Edinburgh ranging from the new Scottish Parliament building to Greyfriars Bobby. In conjunction with Scottish law, the the Radisson Blu Hotel Edinburgh operates a strict no smoking policy throughout the premises. External smoking areas are provided. Standard Room: Decorated in soft white and warm grey, our Standard rooms are contemporary, comfortable and offer a relaxing environment for your stay. All rooms come with complimentary Wi-Fi and amenities expected of a first class hotel including laptop size safe, tea/coffee making facilities, pay movies, digital television, landline telephone and luxury bathroom amenities from Anne Semonin. Business Class Room: Many of our Business Class rooms feature a principal wall decorated with innovative black-on-black thistle repeat motif wallpaper from Timorous Beasties coupled with superb views of Arthur's Seat and the Royal Mile. All Business Class room rates include breakfast and come with upgraded amenities. Bathrobe and slippers, luxury fudge, mineral water, a selection of movies, Nespresso machine and daily Scotsman newspaper are all complimentary. Designed with luxury and comfort in mind, our Classic Suites offer fabulous views over the Royal Mile as well as a separate lounge area. The lounge area can be used for private dining or simply to relax and unwind. To add to its allure the lounge is decorated with black-on-black thistle repeat motif wallpaper. Turret Suite: Designed with luxury and comfort in mind, our Turrets Suites offer fabulous views over the Royal Mile as well as a double bedroom which can open out into the spacious and stylish lounge area. The lounge area incorporates the Turret into its design making it an ideal space for private dining. To add to its allure the lounge area is decorated with black-on-black thistle repeat motif wallpaper. Guests staying in our Turret suites will be treated to one of the best rooms in the city, right in the heart of the Royal Mile. Family: Each of our family rooms is designed with space in mind and can accommodate up to 5 guests. Equipped with all the standard amenities and with a family seating area, these rooms are ideal for weekends away or long family holidays.

Start your day in the best possible way with a selection of over 120 breakfast dishes including all the ingredients of a traditional Scottish breakfast….. Accessible from the hotel reception and the Royal Mile, Itchycoo's stylish interior and vivid chandeliers are reflected in its striking sociable "palette" dining concept which provides an array of tantalising platters to mix or share. Additionally, there is an All Day Menu served both inside and outside the hotel on the Royal Mile during the summer months which offers a more traditional fare. Selections from the Sea Menu include Teriyaki Salmon with noodles and plum sauce (£6.00) or Grilled Tiger Prawns with Saffron Risotto (£8.00). The Farm Menu offers warming dishes such as Marinated Pork Skewers with Pesto Couscous (£7.00) and Scottish Towers to share with a selection of Haggis, Neeps, Tatties and Battered Haddock and mushy peas (£14.00) whilst vegetarians can browse through the Field Menu including Artichoke and butter Bean Salad (£5.00). Delicious desserts (all £6.00) include a Vanilla Blanc Mange with Saffron Syrup or Baileys Crème Brûlée and a Fresh Fruit Salad. The Vineyard Menu offers a great selection of New and Old World wines.
