HOTEL DESCRIPTION: Hotel Creina was built in 1970 according to the plans of the architect Edvard Ravnikar as one of his copyright works. It was pronounced a historical and cultural monument. Through centuries the name of the town Kranj was changed from Carnium, Creina, to Chreinberg. The hotel »Creina« is named after one. It is located in the center of Kranj.The hotel’s excellent location allows quick access to the airport, the capital city of Slovenia Ljubljana, Ski Center Krvavec, Tourist Center Bled, and to the business and sports environment in Kranj.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATION: Today the Hotel Creina offers 87 rooms (plus2 apartments and 5 rooms for disabled persons) that are equipped with a shower, a telephone, a mini-bar and a TV-set. In our immediate vicinity you can find the offices of the bank, tourist agencies and the Joint-stock Company .

The room is provided with the Hotels Digital Interactive System – HDIS. This enables connecting to the internet, sending and receiving e-mail, selecting TV programs, overseeing your bill and getting all kinds of information. On the second floor there are 5 rooms, which are suitable for handicapped people. On every floor there is also one standard apartment (max 4 persons) and one deluxe apartment ( max 2 persons).

HOTEL FACILITIES: Our culinary masters prepare fresh and warm dishes every day in the hotel’s restaurant. You may also dine a la carte.You can choose between two menus every day (meat and pasta). You may also decide for a vegetarian plate or fruit.
For weddings, anniversaries and other receptions and celebrations you can choose between more menus. We also prepare Slovene evenings with folk music and characteristically traditional Slovene cuisine.
