HOTEL DESCRIPTION: The Ciudad del Cine Hotel is a tourist resort situated at 5 Km. from Coín city centre and 20 Km from Marbella city centre and Málaga International Airport. It is located in a heavenly place, a protected pine yard.SHOW MAP
HOTEL ACCOMMODATION: Enjoying nature at its best or the well-known beaches on the south coast of Spain. The Hotel has 25 double rooms and 26 small apartments (with a lounge and a kitchen), all of them equipped with a television and a telephone.
HOTEL FACILITIES: The resort includes an excellent restaurant, a wonderful pool, some splendid gardens and terraces, an artificial lake for sport fishing and a car park. There are different roads to practise rambling, horse-trips, as well as bicycle and 4x4 routes. An oasis of peace and tranquillity, with fresh temperatures in Summer and mild in Winter, the hotel offers the typical facilities of a three-star hotel, and those of a place surrounded by nature in a rural area. Moreover, you can also enjoy the existence of a studio, being the complex its decoration. This studio was built in 1990 to shoot the BBC TV series "El Dorado". Later on it has been used to shoot the Andalusian TV series "Plaza Alta" or "Castillos en el Aire" and, recently, the film "Torrente" and the TV soap opera "La Dársena de Poniente". To arrive at La Ciudad del Cine you have to drive through a narrow mountain road, which is a spectacle in itself. At the hotel, the rooms and apartments are divided in two zones, one of them around a little yard, next to the artificial lake, and the other one around a great fountain and between the pool and the TV set. The restaurant, which is specialized in Andalusian food, can hold up to three hundred people, and can be used to celebrate all sort of events.
