HOTEL DESCRIPTION: Located on the Promenade in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife, overlooking the sea and just opposite the famous Lago Martianez swimming pool complex, the Valle Mar Hotel is the perfect place to enjoy all the delights offered by the wonderful town of Puerto de la Cruz and the island of Tenerife in general. The hotel has 171 outward-facing rooms with terrace, all equipped with satellite TV, air conditioning, direct telephone, minibar, safe and hairdryer.
HOTEL ACCOMMODATION: The Valle Mar Hotel has a total of 171 outward-facing rooms, of which a significant percentage are luxury suites, with stunning views over the Atlantic Ocean and a range of special, exclusive services. All rooms are equipped with a television, built-in stereo system, air conditioning, direct telephone, minibar and safe. The hotel also has a number of rooms that are specially designed for disabled people or those with mobility problems. These rooms have specially-adapted bathrooms, extra-wide doorways, parquet floors and anatomic beds, among other features.
HOTEL FACILITIES: The Valle Mar Hotel has a number of excellent restaurants that offer high-quality international and local cuisine. Typical Canary Island dishes are characterised by their tasty, spicy sauces, exotic salads, home-grown potatoes and a wealth of local fish, including sea bream, grouper and comber. The Hotel has four restaurants: - The Oasis Restaurant, offering three thematic dinners a week (traditional Spanish cuisine, traditional Canary Island cuisine and a special romantic dinner). This is also the main restaurant for buffet dinners and breakfasts. - The Kontiki Snack Bar, located on the fifth floor with stunning views over the ocean and the Martianez Lagoon. The restaurant offers à la carte lunch menus as well as a warm, friendly atmosphere in the evening to accompany the 'best food on the island'. - The Jardín Café is another delightful place in the Valle Mar Hotel in which to relax and enjoy an aperitif on the terrace overlooking Colon Avenue with 'pedestrian access'.
