For guests looking for a more active holiday, we can arrange painting classes, horse riding, walking, clay pigeon shooting, cookery classes, and personalised guided tours for cities and local attractions. Our warm, inviting salon with wood beamed ceilings and huge open fireplace is a popular place for our guests to relax and enjoy a good book, a game of chess or afternoon tea in winter months. There is a well stocked library of books and a comprehensive collection of DVD’s.

Luxury Appointed Bedrooms
There are just 8 beautifully appointed en suite rooms at La Posada del Torcal, individually styled with luxury beds, soft linen, designer toiletries, TV, DVD players. All rooms have overhead ceiling fans and ground floor rooms have air conditioning. Each bedroom pays tribute to a famous Spanish artist, all have been furnished in a traditional Andalucian style, with some contemporary touches.

Every room has an outstanding view of either the garden and pool or the El Torcal Park, views from every angle are panoramic and breathtaking !
Most rooms have either a balcony or terrace.

HOTEL FACILITIES: Mediterranean Cuisine Estate Chef Paul Tugwell produces an outstanding selection of menu’s which embrace Mediterranean cuisine with an emphasis on local seasonal produce, much of which comes from the Estates own garden’s. Dining at La Posada Dinner is a table d’hote served informally, around a large communal dining table, either in the main dining room or outside on one of our terraces, weather permitting. Please note that we do not serve lunch at the Posada. Picnic lunches can be provided on request and any special dietary requirements can be catered for with 24 hours notice. Chef Paul Tugwell creates a delicious daily changing 4 course menu for our guests, which makes use of the best local ingredients of the season combined with fusion cuisine from around the globe.
