Molino del Rey Malaga

"Molino del Rey" has been built from two ancient water mills into a most beautiful centre for holistic workshops and holidays. Set in the still undiscovered wild beauty of Andalucia, the hamlet of Jorox is in a fertile green valley, flanked by orange groves in the Nature Reserve "Sierra de las Nieves", only 50 min. from the tourist resorts of the Costa del Sol and the magical city of Ronda.A spring of the river "Rio Grande" is born at the entrance of our hamlet. From it the purest of waters pour through our centre, offering bathing facilities whilst surrounded by the wonderful fragrance of mountain flowers. It is an excellent area for hiking, and immersing oneself in the ambience of unspoiled rural Spain in one of the best National Parks.

"Molino del Rey" offers its facilities all year round to teachers and workshop leaders, wishing to run courses such as: Yoga, Meditation, Healing, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Creativity, Voice Work, Dance, Art etc , in a near perfect setting for intensive workshops and natural restful holidays, away from the coast's tourist centres.Our various course leaders have but one aim in common, helping people with their personal development. Centre Facilities:

Molino del Rey, has a total of 17 beds, with hot/cold air conditioning in all rooms . 7 Twin Rooms and 1 Single Room in the main house, all with bathrooms & balconies, plus a very beautiful addition, the twin "Dome" Room . This accommodation has it's own private garden, separate bathroom and two WC's, all set in an exclusive little environment, away from the main living area.Our Spanish neighbours offer private but simple accommodation within a few minutes walk from our centre, if needed. Please note that Molino del Rey is a private house and not classed as a hotel. Our pool, kitchen and restaurant are not public areas!

POOL: An imaginatively designed pool, has been constructed in harmony with the natural environment of our centre.
SAUNA: For a nominal fee, one has the option of relaxing in our pool-side sauna.
SEMINAR STUDIO: Our most imaginatively constructed 100 square meter studio has been skillfully designed to accommodate a great variety of workshops and seminars. Having been built into the mountainside, it enjoys incredible acoustics for music, voice work etc
CAVES: We are extremely fortunate in having our own caves, particularly appreciated by meditation groups, for chanting, overtone, Didgeridoo etc. In fact the whole mountain is honeycombed with caves. Many have been explored by our more adventurous guests ! Within the seminar studio there is also a large glazed opening so that one can enjoy the spectacular cave formations of this magical place, also providing "natural" air conditioning in the hot summer months
YOGA STUDIO: Our most imaginatively constructed 98 square meter studio has been skillfully designed to accommodate a great variety of workshops and seminars. Having been built into the mountainside, it enjoys incredible acoustics for music, voice work etc.We have installed high quality double glazing & insulation to ensure e.g. perfect stillness for meditation.
