LOCATION: In the south of the island, between fields of almond and fig trees, just 500 mts. from the village of Ses Salines and 6 km from the sea, stands the ancient stone house of Sa Carrotja, one of the oldest in the village. It is a construction typical of the Majorcan rural scene, dating from the 16th century, and has been completely restored.
The restoration has preserved the traditional and original character of the house, whilst adapting to the comfort needs of modern living.
The serene and relaxing atmosphere will make you feel good the moment you arrive.
The garden and small 'home-grow' area are an immediate attraction for the visitor, as are the aromas emanating from the kitchen .

The 9 rooms in the house have been meticulously restored for our guests to enjoy a comfortable break in a relaxing atmosphere, where the quality of the materials is matched by simplicity and good taste.

BARS & RESTAURANT: In our kitchen we prepare breakfasts using the wide assortment of typical home-made products from our Majorcan cuisine, selected for both their variety and their delicacy.
For supper, you can choose each day from one of the 3 menus we have to offer, a fish speciality, a meat dish and a vegetarian menu.
We prepare our menus using the traditional recipes of Majorcan fare, but with our own particular contributions for you to enjoy the genuine flavours of our cuisine, accompanied by a selection of the finest Majorcan wines.
HOTEL FACILITIES & SERVICES:
Both Guillem and Pilar, the owners, will attend to you personally to ensure that your stay at the house will be especially enjoyable, and provide you with any information you may need on the best beaches in the vicinity and activities you might be interested in.
At the property, you can relax on the sunny terraces and take breakfast in the porch area until midday. In the evening they are transformed into a charming setting for an enjoyable and quiet supper beside the garden. If you decide to have a spell in the pool, up April you will find the water comfortable thanks to the temperature control system.
A self-service cafeteria and bar is on hand all day, with an assortment of cakes and pastries and some of our own specialities.
There is also a small office equipped with a computer and Internet connection for the use of our guests.
For short journeys or if you fancy a spin, we have bicycles available free of charge.
Just 6 km away are some of the best beaches on the island, such as Es Trenc and the pretty beaches of Colònia de Sant Jordi, such as Carbó and Dolç. Not far away are small coves which are typical of the area and a delightful setting for an enjoyable holiday.
The area offers a good variety of leisure activities such as tennis, horse riding, golf and walking or cycle routes, in addition to well-known shopping areas and restaurants.
The only hot water spa on the island is 4 km away.
