HOTEL DESCRIPTION: Built in September 1974 and celebrated 30 years anniversary in 2004. The hotel has gone through an extensive renovation during the last few years. Our sources of inspiration in this process of renewal are Sweden’s tall, slender birch trees, the traditional cooper-red paint of wooden houses and good old-fashioned thoughtfulness and consideration. Business centre, sauna and gym provided for guest use. Own heated parking facilities.
HOTEL ACCOMMODATION: 235 rooms, including 16 signature rooms and suites mainly on the 7th floor (top floor). All rooms and suites are provided with free broadband access and all the accoutrements expected in a 4-star hotel. Facilities in all the rooms (suites, double rooms, business rooms and single rooms): Bath/shower and hairdryer, TV, telephone and safe. All rooms are non-smoking. Swedish design is characterised by a healthy balance between hot and cold – and in every nook and cranny of the new look Birger Jarl, Swedish designers have interpreted this balance. The results are modern and yet timeless.
HOTEL FACILITIES: The hotel offers 235 rooms, conference facilities for 2-150 persons, private garage, sauna and a smaller gym, lobby bar, restaurant, breakfast room and business center (office, internet and printer).

Lobby Bar: Hotel Birger Jarl is both a meeting place and a refuge. The natural centre is our lobby bar, where you can sit and philosophise over a cup of coffee, arrange a meeting before dinner, or chat to other people there. Perhaps you come from the small Swedish town of Eslöv and she comes from Tokyo. The meeting can be memorable. We serve sandwiches, cakes and drinks of all types in our lobby bar and not forgetting the specially mixed designer drinks of the house. The lobby bar is open from Monday to Saturday from 7.00 a.m. to midnight and Sundays from 7.00 a.m. to 11.00 p.m.
A la Carte: Welcome to our Conservatory for an enjoyable dinner in an undemanding atmosphere. Here we have also placed great emphasis on detail, both as regards furnishing and the dinner service. Swedish ingredients dominate our kitchen. On the menu you will find both Swedish classics of modern vintage and crossovers The Conservatory is open for dinner every day between 5.00 p.m. and 10.00 p.m.
