ACCOMMODATION
Due to the historic nature of the hotel and its distribution on various buildings, most of our 45 rooms differ in size, location an decor.
All rooms are tastefully furnished and equiped with bath/WC or shower/WC, hair-dryer, minibar, telephone, radio and television.
A free of charge internet workstation is at the clients' dipsosal in the "torretta", while mobile surfers can access Swisscom PWLAN at an extra charge on the hotel grounds and in all the rooms. |

HOTEL FACILITIES AND AMENITIES
RESTAURANTS
Ristorante "de Ghiriglioni" and Courtyard. Beginning and end of season and on those evenings, where the temperature is too fresh to eat in the open, they serve delicious menus and à la carte dishes in the Ristorante "de Ghiriglioni".
"Castello" Hall. From 7 AM to 11 AM they serve a rich breakfast-buffet in the "Castello" Hall or on the breakfast terrace, where guests can start their day in a relaxing atmosphere in the morning sun.
In the evening half-board guests are served a 3-course menu with choice from the daily culinary offer.
Palm Terrace with Lake-View. When the temperatures rise and the evenings are pleasantly warm they move service to the palm terrace, where the half-board and à la carte guests can enjoy their dinner with a beautiful view on the Lago Maggiore.
Pavilion and Castle Garden by the Lake. The castle garden by the lake is the only green oasis on the Piazza of Ascona, with a stupendous and unobstructed view on the Lago Maggiore and the Brissago islands.
As soon as it is possible to eat in the open, the castle garden by lake lake is an ideal place to have a relaxed lunch. In the afternoon they serve coffee, cakes and home-made ice-cream coupes and in the evening the kitchen brigade offers a selection of fine à la carte dishes. |
