LOCATION
Between the 13th and 16th centuries, this cluster of buildings belonged successively to the Bishops of Geneva, a baker and the distinguished Chouet de la Rive family, who consolidated the structure in the Italian style.
Hotel Les Armures Geneva is the only luxury hotel located in Geneva's atmospheric Old Town; guests sleep within walls steeped in history and wake up to the bells of nearby Cathédrale St-Pierre. Many 17th-century details, including painted beams, frescoes, fireplaces and ancient stonework, have been preserved in its 28 individually decorated rooms.
The adjacent Les Armures restaurant is a Geneva landmark, a popular spot among visitors and Genevans alike, who enjoy its down-to-earth Swiss specialties, including raclette and cheese fondue, and lively ambience.
