The name of our new Italian restaurant was chosen through a competition and suggested answers came from the hotel’s guests and industry associates. Vivaldi – was chosen because of the composer of the famous piece of classical music and the obvious association with the hotel, it was also the most popular suggestion! The restaurant now offers the best in fresh wholesome, modern Italian cuisine. The prolific use of wood gives this restaurant a unique warmth and ambience. The large marble fireplace framed by an amber glow, even when it is not lit, is the central focus point of the room and this is further accentuated by a trio of illuminated wine racks on one side and an original artwork of abstract roses on the other. The use of colour has been paramount in creating the desired ambience and this is abundantly apparent, from the coloured show plates on the tables, to the rich deep red curtains, the brightly coloured paintings and the expert use of discreet backlighting, even through to the presentation of the food itself standing in beautiful contrast against the exquisite pure white palette of the crockery it arrives on!

The hotel also offers the newly refurbished Summit room A & B, or both together providing excellent solutions for the smaller to medium sized meeting and the Chairmans suite, added in 2004, consisting of two executive level boardrooms for 12 & 10 persons respectively.
