delightful boutique hotel of outstanding individuality and charm
created in a converted, refurbished 19th century Ottoman mansion,
proud to uphold the traditions of Old World Turkish hospitality.
Like in old Ottoman Turkish mansions, an unpretentious facade conceals
an interior reminiscent of the delicacy of Wedgwood china or a Fabergé
egg.
Accommodation
: The hotel has 17 rooms, each designated by the type of bed(s)
with which it is furnished: i.e., Double Room or Twin Room.
An exception is the special Princess Room where the centerpiece
four-poster bed evokes the long-forgotten era of crinolines
and morning jackets. A stay here is a jaunt into the past,
but with modern conveniences included.
All
of our rooms are comfortable and spotless; each is individually
decorated with great care and finesse to reflect the refined
graces of the 19th century.
Each room has air-conditioning, direct dial telephone, mini
bar, cable TV (with CNN, BBC World, TV5, RTL, RAI1, etc.),
hardwood parquet floors accented with lovely Turkish rugs,
translucent curtains as well as opaque drapes to keep out
sunlight when you wish, fully tiled private bathroom with
enclosed shower cabin, hair dryer, WC, hot and cold water
always available.
Hotel Faciities : A descriptive

the hotel begins with the forecourt patio where in warm weather
guests can relax with a book, enjoy an aperitif surrounded
by blooming flowers or just watch the world stroll by. Next
comes the elegant, fetchingly furnished hotel Lobby &
Lounge, a popular meeting point and the favorite place to
read the daily newspaper, and should you want to check or
send e-mail, or see what the weather is like at home or at
your next destination, you don’t have to go looking for
Internet access since you can have it right on the hotel premises
– just ask at the Reception. The receptionist will also
take your orders for our 24-hour room service, make transportation
arrangements, and accept your valuables for safe-deposit storage.

in the Sultan’s treasury, and close at hand flashes the
lighthouse that achieved fame through the film “Topkapi”
starring Melina Mercouri, Tony Curtis and Peter Ustinoff.
