The
hotel is built right into the ancient city walls, that make up the
cave like walls of the Wooden House Inn. The original walls are
preserved for historic purposes and give the guest a historic feeling
of ancient Ottoman guest house but with modern day conveniences.
It is a walking distance to the most important Byzantine and Ottoman
monuments of Istanbul, such as St. Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi
Palace, Hippodrome, Basilica Cistern and not more than 10 minutes
to Grand Bazaar.

Hotel Facilities : The interior of the rooms reflects
the exotic beauty of Byzantine and classic Ottoman Empire
decoration. All the rooms are decorated with rustic wooden
furniture and Turkish handcrafts which are the samples of
neo-classic Ottoman art.
The terrace of NAZ has a tremendous
view of the Sea of Marmara and the Princes Islands on one
side and a spectacular view of the Blue Mosque on the other.
Naz also has an ancient hall of which the walls are the remains
of Byzantine house. The breakfast is served in the ancient
hall during the cold winter days and preffered by the guests
for listening traditional Turkish music.
