Paragliding

Have you always dreamed of flying? While keeping nature in sight and respecting the environment? Then paragliding flights from Al Marsa Musandam are for you.

Paragliding has been practiced internationally for 20 years and has rapidly overtaken hanggliding in sports aviation, due to its portability, stability and ease of learning. Al Marsa Musandam is the first registered Omani school and has already taught students from 17 years to 70 years, as well as pilots that have disabilities.

Paragliding is the simplest and most serene way to fulfil humankind's oldest dream - free flight! The pilot runs down a gentle slope and glides away from the mountain. There is no free-falling or jumping off of cliffs. The launches and landings are slow and gentle and, once in the air, most people are surprised by how quiet and peaceful the experience is. Even a fear of heights is rarely a factor, as there is no sensation of falling.

Paramotoring

The latest development in foot launched flight. Using a paraglider canopy and a small engine on your back, it is an aeroplane that can be carried in the boot of a car.

Flight baptisms in powered paragliding is one of the most exciting activities.
No special instruction is required, no special healthy condition, or age, and Al Marsa Musandam offer spectacular views along the coast of Oman as you enjoy the great experience of powered paragliding.

Motor Delta flights

Al Marsa Musandam are offering sightseeing flights and travelling around the Musandam area. Their Motor Delta light flying machine (lighter and safer than flying an ultralight), allows 1 or 2 people to fly securely, with an open cockpit.

In many countries, Motor Delta flights are found valuable not only for leisure and travel, but also for professional use: in the USA, police use them for traffic control; in France, the army use them and in many countries they do agricultural work, help taking airshots for TV and press, and are useful to find new archaeological sites, etc. Al Marsa Musandam Sultanate Motor Delta flights are available for leisure and commercial hire.
