26 uniquely designed treatment rooms are arranged in island clusters of ­small, private oases amidst tropical landscapes. Each island comprises of no more than three treatment rooms ensuring privacy and quietude, whilst balconies overlook private gardens. All rooms can accommodate double occupancy and two outdoor treatment tents offer a taste of Arabia within the lush surroundings of courtyard gardens. Ladies can choose to arrive at their exclusive reception for additional discretion.

Guests can choose to take a water taxi to The Quay Healthclub, a serenely relaxing mode of transport in preparation for activity of a more physical kind.

Open to all adult guests of Madinat Jumeirah and a privileged number of Club Members, the Quay is equipped to accommodate the most demanding follower of fitness. Star Trac cardio-vascular and Nautilus resistance equipment interacts and entertains in a technological display. From gentle jog to arduous action - the Quay performs at every level. Trained staff are always on hand to assist, demonstrate and assess.

Complimenting the extraordinarily large gymnasium are two championship squash courts, a beautiful 25 m lap pool, a learner pool and a large fitness studio, all arranged in a split-level interior scheme which simultaneously facilitates light and space, perspective and privacy. Changing rooms are spacious and lavishly equipped, befitting a five star environment. Adjacent sauna and steam rooms enable guests to feel the heat in comfort and confined luxury. Our professional tennis coaches can offer tennis lessons to suit all ages, skill and fitness levels. Tennis clinics allow you to programme a series of lessons over the course of your stay. Five superb floodlit courts exist at Madinat Jumeirah. Rackets are readily available for hire.
