How can humans train dolphins to do what you can see in our programs? It is simple, join one of our classes and learn how to train dolphins. Maybe you can even use these techniques to train other people. After all we all work on some sort of reward system.

Shows
The Dolphins are so very much accustomed to large crowds that they seem to perform better when there is a full house. They are very fast and accurate swimmers. Their navigation measurements are in millimeters while our measurements are in decameters. Their world is so precise because their ability to survive is just a matter of seconds either for food or their own protection. Join one of our many classes to learn more.

The Seals have their own character and are one of the most agile swimmers ever to grace the ocean. The move like spring coils without any effort through the water. They can turn on a dime. However, you will not see this in the program because the seals are so funny on land. They are so capable in everything they do that you will be delighted. If they were in the water there would almost be nothing to see as they stay under water for an inordinate amount of time.

Swim with a Dolphin
Swim with dolphins is an opportunity to be together with a dolphin in the habitat pool. The habitat pool is special because it has a 2.5 meter wading ledge that is just 90cm deep, the rest of the pool is 4.5 meters deep. The pool is 19 meters long and 11 meters wide.

The session starts with the guest(s) arriving at the Habitat pool where they will take a shower and get dressed. There are mixed and private session. In a private session only the swimmer who paid for a private session will be swimming, of course the private session is more expensive (see Prices). In the mixed session there will be up to 12 people with the three dolphins taking turns to be in contact with the dolphins.

The trainer will not be in the pool with the dolphin so it is not possible nor allowed for children under the age of 5 or special needs to swim. Although we provide life vests it is strongly advisable that the participant know how to swim. Some children are sometimes afraid, this is a natural response to something so new, that is why it is advisable to have older children participate. It is also essential that any swimmers are not ill, in their cycle and are fit enough for this activity. (see the rules and conditions)

Upon entering the water the swimmer(s) will have fifteen minutes of swimming time with a dolphin. There are different interactions with the dolphin; hugging, touching the skin, being pulled around the pool by their dorsal fin. Many people like just being in proximity.

After the lapse of the allocated swimming time the swimmers will be asked to leave the pool so they can take a shower, dress and leave the habitat area either to let the dolphins have their rest or to allow other swimmers to ready themselves for their session.

There are times when we need to cancel and reschedule sessions, if it happens we try to schedule the next best session or will refund your complete fees. If a participant fails to make his/her session then we are sorry there are no refunds since that time slot was reserved specifically for that person.

The swimmer will most certainly enjoy his/her encounter and will feel refreshed as they will understand that this experience will last for a lifetime.
