street. In the afternoon, visit the Hofburg Palace, Schönbrunn

Travel through the Wachau Valley, past vineyards, fruit farms
and historic buildings along the Danube. Pause at one of the

In Salzburg see Fortress Hohensalzburg, Mirabell Castle, Mozart’s
birthplace, shop on famous Getreidegasse, or visit a local

Day 5: Salzburg —
St Wolfgang — Bad Ischl — Salzburg(120 kilometres)
Travel to beautiful Salzkammergut, the imperial town of Bad
Ischl and the villages of St Gilgen, St Strobl and St Wolfgang,
with their panoramas of mountains, meadows, forests, farms
and lakes. Overnight in Salzburg.
Day 6: Salzburg —
Innsbruck (170 kilometres)
Visit Swarovski Crystal World en route to Innsbruck, where
in the afternoon you can explore the Golden Roof House, Imperial
Palace, the Hofkirche and city tower. Overnight in Innsbruck.
Day 7: Innsbruck —
Garmisch-Partenkirchen — Füssen — Innsbruck

Drive via Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany’s most famous
mountain resort, to Palace Linderhof and the beautiful Bavarian
castles of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau. Overnight in
Innsbruck.
Day 8: Innsbruck —
Munich (170 kilometres)
Drive to Munich International Airport to return your rental
car and board your onward flight.
