This tour enables you to experience
the best of China’s rich cultural heritage and its dramatic
urban regeneration in Shanghai.
Day 1: Hong Kong
Arrive in Hong Kong and transfer to your hotel. Spend the
evening at your leisure.
Day 2: Hong Kong –
Beijing
Depart from Hong Kong International Airport for your flight
to Beijing. Today, you could explore the city on your own.
Day 3: Beijing
In the morning, visit Tiananmen Square, around which are some
of China’s most important buildings including the Great
Hall of the People and the Museum of Chinese History. In the
afternoon, visit the Forbidden City.

Day 4: Beijing
On this day you visit the Great Wall of China, the world’s
largest structure, before continuing to the Ming Tombs, the
resting place of 13 emperors of the Ming dynasty.
Day 5: Beijing
– Xian
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to
Xian. Visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda built over 1,300 years
ago, the 600-year-old Bell Tower and the Shaanxi Provincial
Museum.
Day 6: Xian
After breakfast, set out to see the extraordinary Terracotta
Army. In the afternoon, you visit the Ban Po Museum, where
the remains of a neolithic society dating back 8,000 years
are displayed.
Day 7: Xian –
Shanghai
After breakfast, you transfer to the airport for your flight
to Shanghai. Visit the Bund area – Shanghai’s
Wall Street, the Yu Garden built in 1559 and the Jade Buddha
Temple. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure.
Day 8: Shanghai –
Hong Kong
Depart from your hotel to the airport for your return flight
to Hong Kong. The rest of the day is free.
Days 9 and 10: Hong
Kong
These two days are free to spend at your leisure. You could
catch up with last-minute shopping before you transfer to
the airport for your return flight.

Day 3: Hong Kong –
Guilin
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Guilin.
Spend the day at your leisure. Overnight in Guilin.
Day 4: Guilin
Today you enjoy a leisurely cruise along the Li Jiang river as it
meanders amongst the towering limestone pinnacles and extraordinary
rock formations. The cruise ends in the town of Yan Sho, where you
can shop for souvenirs. Overnight in Guilin.
Day 5: Guilin – Beijing
Visit the legendary Fubo Hill, Reed Flute Cave and Elephant Trunk
Hill. Travel to Beijing by flight. Overnight in Beijing.
Day 6: Beijing
Visit Tiananmen Square, around which are some of China’s most
important buildings. After lunch, visit the Forbidden City, a vast
complex built in the 15th century and which housed the imperial
courts of the Ming and Qing dynasties. Overnight in Beijing.
Day 7: Beijing
Today you visit the Great Wall of China, the world’s largest
structure, before you proceed to the Ming Tombs, the resting place
of 13 emperors of the Ming dynasty. Overnight in Beijing.
Day 8: Beijing – Shanghai
Take a flight to Shanghai. Visit the Bund area – Shanghai’s
Wall Street and the Jade Buddha Temple. Overnight in Shanghai.
Days 9: Shanghai
Spend the day at your leisure, perhaps indulging in shopping or
entertainment, before you transfer to the airport for your onward
flight.

This unforgettable tour will introduce you to Hong
Kong as well as to ancient and modern Beijing with its world-famous

Day 1: Hong Kong
Arrive in Hong Kong and transfer to your hotel. Spend the evening

Day 2: Hong Kong –
Beijing
Transfer to Hong Kong International Airport for your flight to Beijing.
After transferring to your hotel, the rest of the day is free –
perhaps to explore the city’s teeming streets or to admire
traditional Chinese art at the Beihong Museum.
Day 3: Beijing
In the morning visit Beijing Zoo. You continue next to the 12th
century Summer Palace before stopping for lunch. In the afternoon
you visit the Forbidden City, the imperial court of the Ming and
Qing dynasties, and Tiananmen Square, created by Chairman Mao Tse
Tung, around which are some of China’s most important buildings
including the Great Hall of the People and the Museum of Chinese
History.
Day 4: Beijing
Today you visit the Great Wall of China, the world’s largest
man-made structure, which stretches across 6,320 kilometres. In
the afternoon you continue to the Ming Tombs, the resting place
of 13 emperors of the Ming dynasty, before returning to your hotel.
Day 5: Beijing – Hong
Kong
Depart from your hotel to the airport for your return flight to
Hong Kong. The rest of the day is free perhaps to explore the exciting
shopping at Times Square in Causeway Bay, Tsim Sha Tsui or the Temple
Street Night Market.
Day 6: Hong Kong
In the morning you discover the many fascinating aspects of Hong
Kong on a city tour. Enjoy the magnificent views of the harbour
from Victoria Peak and visit popular Stanley Village. In the evening
you transfer to the airport for your return flight.

This tour enables you to experience the natural
and man-made wonders along the golden shores of the Yangtze river,
in particular the world famous Yangtze Three Gorges – one
of nature’s most extraordinary sculptures. Accommodation aboard
any one of Victoria Cruises fleet of ships is in comfortable cabins.
Each of the ships has a dining room, lounge, salon, restaurant,
bar, business centre, library, gift shop, beauty salon, laundry
service, health clinic, fitness room and an observation deck for

Day 1: Shanghai
Arrive in Shanghai. Spend the day at your leisure. You may explore
the many exciting facets of China’s most cosmopolitan city.
Day 2: Shanghai – Chongqing
Take a morning flight to Chongqing – ‘The Mountain City’.
Enjoy a brief tour of the city before boarding the cruise ship in
the evening.
Day 3: Chongqing – Yangtze river
In the morning depart Chongqing for Fengdu. Discover the fascinating
temples in this “City of Ghosts” on a shore excursion.
Day 4: Yangtze river
Today you sail through the Qutang and Wu gorges. Qutang is short,
but dramatic and the caves on the cliffs once held the coffins of
the Song dynasty warriors. Wu is the home of the sheer and narrow
‘Twelve Peaks’. Depending on river conditions, either
the Daning river or the Shennong stream will be visited.
Day 5: Yangtze river
Today you sail through the Xiling Gorge – the longest as well
as the deepest, its cliff walls rising up to 4,000 feet. You also
visit the Three Gorges Dam.
Day 6: Yangtze river – Wuhan –
Shanghai
Arrive into Wuhan in the afternoon. Transfer to the airport for
your flight back to Shanghai.
