01, Friday / Dubai (Breakfast)
Guests will be met upon arrival at Dubai Airport assisted
with Immigration formalities and then transferred to Crowne
Plaza Dubai for check-in. Overnight stay at the
Crowne Plaza Hotel Dubai
Day 02, Saturday / Dubai (Breakfast & BBQ
Dinner)
08:30 hrs - Meet with your local tour guide for a short
brief and then depart on a tour of Sharjah. We start at
the Sheikh Mohammed bin Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qassimi
Mosque and walk along the Corniche, watching the people
working on the Dhows, on- and offloading goods being transported
in the very traditional way. Crossing the road, we enter
the Majarrah Souk, a wonderful example of modern Arabic
architecture, have a look around the shops while walking
past them and enjoy the relaxing temperature and the typical
smell of Arabic fragrances. In the direct neighbourhood
you find a lot of little shops selling all kind of goods
for the more modern day to day life. The shop owners are
mostly Iranians. While strolling along, you might even
find something you would like to take home. A little further
down the street we come across the old Souq. Beautiful
little stores, selling the very traditional bits and pieces,
traditional clothing for Him and Her, the Kandoura, Agal,
Gutrah and Kaffia or the Abaya, Sheila and Sirwal. Take
your time and even stroll through little alleyways to
get a feeling for it all. Continue your walk towards Al
Hisn Fort, home of the former ruler of Sharjah, where
a very interesting movie is shown about the history of
Sharjah as well as the very first Airport in the UAE.
Following a short stroll through Al Arsah Souq we visit
the Blue Souq, where more than 600 shops sell carpets,
gold, silver, antiques, perfumes, clothes and many other
temptations. From the souq we have a view of the King
Faisal mosque next to the Ittihad monument. Return to
the hotel for lunch (own arrangements). Late afternoon,
depart on a Dune Dinner Safari. Overnight stay

03, Sunday / Dubai – Muscat – Al Sawadi (Breakfast
)
After breakfast and checkout, depart for Dubai Airport
for onward flight to Muscat.
At approximately 09:15 hrs arrives into Seeb International
Airport. Meet and greet and we proceed straight to Al
Sawadi and check-in at Al Sawadi Beach Resort.
15:00 hrs - Drive through the date palms to the sparkling
springs and fort at Nakhl, Return back to Al Sawadi.

04, Monday / Muscat – Nizwa (Breakfast & Dinner)
09:00 hrs - We depart Sawadi to visit the pretty village
of Birkat Al Mauz situated at the foothills of Jebel Akhdar
(Green Mountains). Enjoy a walk through its oasis and
dense date plantations. Check-in at Nizwa Hotel.
1600 hrs - we visit Jabrin, the finest of Oman’s
castles built in the late 17th century, became a seat
of Omani learning. The castle displays the highest achievement
in Omani ceiling painting & beautifully executed wood
carvings. Return back to Nizwa. Dinner and overnight
stay at Nizwa Hotel.
Day 05, Tuesday / Nizwa – Muscat (Breakfast &
Lunch)
08:00 hrs - We depart Nizwa, capital of the interior,
is the birth place of Islam in the Sultanate of Oman.
Nizwa boast of the famous Round Tower Fort, built in the
17th century, and its Souq renowned for its intricately
handcarved “Khanjars” (daggers) & ornamental
silver jewellery. Proceed to Muscat and on arrival check-in
at Intercontinental Hotel Muscat .
13:00 hrs - Buffet lunch will be served at Intercontinental
Hotel Muscat.
15:30 hrs - Proceed for the visit of colorful Muttrah
Souq. Our tour of the Bait Al Zubair Museum (except Friday)
is a brief introduction that traces Oman’s history
and development. We proceed for a photo stop to the magnificent
Al Alam Palace, residence of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos
flanked by the 16th century Portuguese forts Mirani &
Jalali. Overnight stay at Intercontinental Hotel

06, Wednesday / Muscat – Dubai – Abu Dhabi
(Breakfast & Lunch)
08:00 hrs - Early breakfast and check-out. Muscat offers
the visitor a unique opportunity to witness a modern commercial
center existing in harmony with its traditional culture.
With its natural harbour, Muscat means "Anchorage"
& lies in a natural volcanic bowl. Our tour of the
Grand Mosque (except Thursday & Friday). (Ladies fully
covered with scarf and shorts not allowed for men) Proceed
straight to Seeb International Airport for your flight
back to Dubai EK 863 at 1100 hrs.
In Dubai - Guests will be met upon arrival

and then transferred to a restaurant for lunch. PM: After
Lunch we proceed on a Dubai City Tour. A fascinating historical
excursion. Our route takes us to the magnificent Jumeirah
mosque; past modern palaces sprawled along the coast.
In Bastakia we stop for a while
to admire the old wind-tower houses built by wealthy merchants.
Close by, stands the 150-year old Al Fahidi Fort. Here,
the Dubai Museum records the city’s past as an important
pearl diving and trading centre. We continue our journey
by Abra - local water taxi. As we cross the Creek we see
the modern metropolis with its splendid architecture dwarfing
the bustling alleys of our next destination, the gold
and spice souks.
Then we continue our journey onwards to Abu Dhabi , the
Capitol of the United Arab Emirates.
On our way to we visit the Abu Dhabi Corniche and the
Heritage village.

Day
07, Thursday / Abu Dhabi – Al Ain – Dubai
(Breakfast )
After breakfast, checkout and depart on a City Tour of
Abu Dhabi. In this city of dramatic contrasts, we visit
the ancient, but now renovated Al Husn Fort. Next we visit
the old Dhow yard and charming Bithnah harbour, and then
continue to Al Ain. Lunch at hotel in Al Ain (own arrangements).
After lunch, proceed for a tour of Al Ain. We visit the
Al Ain Museum, next to the old fortress, and then walk
through the oasis located nearby which highlights the
traditional irrigation system. Our next stop is the beautiful
Al Ain Palace Museum, once the
residence of the ruler of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Zayed. We
now drive to the town of Buraimi where we saunter through
the quaint miniscule souk. We then visit the traditional
camel market, continuing to Hili to visit the archaeological
digs, which date back some fi ve thousand years, before
continuing to Dubai and check-in at the Crowne Plaza Dubai.

08, Friday - Dubai: After breakfast, checkout & transfer
to extension hotel or Airport.
