Shiro Dhara, 60 min
This traditional technique is quite powerful in its ability to relieve emotional and physical tension by working on the third eye (the center of the forehead). Your therapist will focus massage on the chest area and upwards, aligning breathing patterns to release heat toxins and negative emotion through the upper chakras (center of energy and gateways to our being). This continues with a luxurious oil flow on the third eye (Shiro Dhara). the window to the soul. The nervous system achieves a state of supreme calmness.

This unique body treatment begins with a therapeutic abhyanga (oil massage) performed in the traditional South Indian Style. Then a fragrant blend of purifying herbs is vigorously worked into the body to detoxify the blood and nourish the outer tissue layers. You will then be "swashed" with a herbal powder that is applied along the nadis, or energy meridians. Your skin is then "fed" with nourishing herbal finisher. This indulging Ayurvedic massage experience in AYOMA's signature massage, combining techniques from various different Ayurvedic styles. Traditionally performed by two therapists, this four-handed technique is designed to work nourishing herbal oils into the body and at once provide a smooth, rhythmical massage flow likening the work of the therapists to that of traditional Indian dancers. Typically receivers of this experience find it difficult to go back to traditional one-on-one massage therapies.
