The day trip to the picturesque fishing town of Dibba located
in the Musandam Peninsula will set you on a diverse holiday
of excitement and escapade both by land and sea. Amazing
natural scenery and a thoroughly enjoyable proactive day-out
are the highlights of this tour.
The trip commences after pick-up from Dubai via Sharjah
and proceeds through the scenic east cost. A short stopover
at the famed ‘Friday market’ for some quick
bargain hunting followed by a brief photostop at Masafi
as we drive through the mountainous area. Arrive at the
Dibba harbor and board the Dhow. The friendly and attentive
crew onboard will ensure you have a memorable journey in
this historical and beautiful part of Arabia. As you recline
and relax sipping Arabic coffee and tea under a canvas shade
on Bedouin style pillows and carpets, it is more like being
part of Sindbad story than being on a boat. The Dhow will
embark on a leisurely cruise, gliding past the spectacular
fjords, naturally formed caves and beach villages along
the coastline.
For those who want to chill out, soak up the sun, take
in the scenery, capture memories to take back home in your
camera, gently swim or with snorkel on your face and flippers
on your legs take a thrilling plunge down the crystal clear
waters.
The Musandam waters abound with a vast array of fish, wild
dolphins and other marine life and fishing enthusiasts on
board get to chance their luck with a spot of fishing. Musandam
Peninsula is at the edge of the ‘western Palearctic’
where one can spot birds from three continents. Later we
sail back to the Dibba harbour.
