Twin (Taupou) Room: This is our family-sized room designed specifically with 2 to 4 guests in mind. The two double beds and Balinese furnishings give this room a feeling of subtle elegance. The interior decor in this room has earthy hues that blend with the natural beauty of the hotel surroundings.
King (Manaia) Room: In Samoan, "manaia" means beautiful, which defines this bedroom perfectly. The large king-sized bed on a beautiful teak sleigh-frame combines comfort and style, to provide for nothing less than absolute relaxation. Furnishings, imported from Indonesia, highlight the room with a sense of tropical sophistication that you will not find anywhere else. As you are away from your own home, we understand that a little pampering may be in order. This room fits the bill, guaranteed to melt away your traveling discomforts.
Deluxe (Matai) Suite: The Matai are the chiefs of our Islands. When one visits your home it is customary to provide the Matai with the best lodging you have to offer. As you open the doors to the Deluxe Matai Suite, you will find yourself in a living complex fit for a Matai. The lounge provides a separate area from your bedroom, in which to entertain guests. The furniture emphasizes the natural beauty of the tropics, including a handsome solid, teak bed-frame, complete with our most comfortable king-sized mattresses, and four hand-carved posts.
Plaza (Ali’i) Suite: The Ali'i are the highest of chiefs, often times of royal lineage. We are delighted to introduce the Ali'i Plaza Suite, the first of its kind on our island, designed with our Ali'i guests in mind. European luxury and the warmth of Polynesia unite in this magnificent suite of rooms, to bring you the best in comfort and elegance. The suite is made up of a bedroom, a living room and kitchenette, and two full-sized bathrooms. The spacious living room features the finest in quality, teak furnishing, a flat-screen television, a full dining table with chairs for four. |

DINING
The Equator Restaurant: The relaxed comfort of The Equator Restaurant combines great food and friendly efficient service to produce what is quite simply American Samoa’s best choice when dining out. Chef Gareth Collins brings a wealth of international experience to the Tradewinds Hotel Tradewinds, incorporating as much local produce as possible, with inspiration from local cooking styles he is producing menus that offer an exciting blend of flavors and temptations to diners, with a mix of American, European, Pacific and Asian cuisines.
Kofe Plus: Bringing coffee culture to American Samoa, Kofe Plus offers a casual, relaxed atmosphere in which to enjoy a range of beverages including Illy espresso coffee. A selection of light meals, and snacks are prepared daily offering something quick and easy, or something to take with you and eat on the go.
FACILITIES
At the Tradewinds Hotel, your comfort is our top priority; our 100 guest rooms were designed with this in mind. We also provide many services to ensure that your stay with us is relaxing and pleasant.
In order to make your stay with us as enjoyable as possible, we have made an effort to provide our guests with recreational facilities and entertainment on the premises.
