DIVING DAYS |
| |
Day 1
Hotel coach transfers at 0800 to Pro Dive Training Centre. The morning is spent in classroom training with an afternoon session in the pool. Return transfer to hotel at 1730 hours. |

Day 2
Hotel transfer at 0800 for morning pool session followed by an afternoon classroom session and final exam. Return transfer to hotel at 1745 hours. In the evening attend “Reef Teach” a fun and informative marine biology presentation. |

Day 3
Hotel transfer at 0600 to Marlin Jetty to board the dive boat for 3 days and 2 nights of diving on the Great Barrier Reef. You will complete your first training dive before lunch. After lunch you will complete your second training dive in the ocean and then plenty of time to relax before dinner. (L, D) |

Day 4
Complete your final two training dives before lunch to become a certified diver. After lunch you will enjoy your first pleasure dive and then rest and get ready for your night dive. (B, L, D) |

Day 5
Morning dive prior to breakfast then weather permitting move to a new reef site for a further 2 dives. After lunch return to Cairns approximately 1600 hours for transfer to your hotel.
Pro Dive Cairns reserves the right to adjust or cancel the brochured diving itinerary and number of dives subject to weather conditions. (B, L)
N.B. Days 3-5 can be taken separately (daily except Tuesday) as either a 3 day certified dive (11 dives) - CNSDVPROC51DV04D or snorkelling package - CNSDVPROC51DV04S |

Transfer from Cairns city accommodation to Cairns wharf to board your 37 metre liveaboard, Spirit of Freedom. Spirit of Freedom will take you to the famous Cod Hole and Ribbon Reefs of the Great Barrier Reef. The Ribbon Reefs stretch north to the Cod Hole in a |
| turquoise chain of individual coral reefs where formations vary from beds of huge plate corals and coral gardens to isolated pinnacles to walls and channels for the perfect "drift dive". You will have the opportunity to encounter a resident family of giant potato cod at the world famous Cod Hole, while the "Ribbons" are a photographers dream with clouds of colourful tropical fish, anemones, cruising pelagics, moray eels, and giant Napoleon Wrasse. Includes the opportunity for up to 11 dives, north from Cairns to the Ribbon Reefs and the world famous Cod Hole, accommodation in twin share en-suite cabins and meals. Return to Cairns at 11:30am on Thursday by scenic reef flight from Lizard Island. |
