Opened in April 2003, on the former site of the Hotel Darwin, the Resort overlooks the fascinating Darwin Harbour and parkland foreshores and is in close proximity to the Centataph and Parliament House.

A major contributor to the uniqueness of Palms City Resort has been the establishment of beautifully landscaped gardens that have created a tropical paradise in the heart of the city. These carefully planned and maintained gardens are vividly coloured and create cool shade throughout the resort, enhancing the "Top End" experience.
