COOK ISLANDS VISA INFORMATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

PASSPORTS:

Your passport should have six months validity from your arrival date. If you lose you your passport go to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Government Office Building behind the Post Office.

VISAS:

Visitors must arrive with a return air ticket and are given 31 days entry on arrival. To extend this (on a monthly basis up to 6 months) go to the Immigration Office on the top floor of the Government Office Building behind the Post Office. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is in the same building in case you lose your passport.

It is possible for visas to be extended under certain circumstances; contact the nearest Consulate/Embassy for further information.

Application to: The Consulate or consular section at the Embassy (see Contact Addresses section).

Application requirements:

(a) Valid passport.
(b) One completed application form.
(c) One passport-size photo.
(d) Fee payable by postal order only.
(e) Self-addressed, stamped and registered envelope, if applying by post.

Working days required: One week.

Temporary residence: Contact the Consulate (or Consular section at Embassy).
