HOTEL FACILITIES & SERVICES: There is a large Timorese-style ocean-side bar and restaurant
plus an additional shady open-air dining area. It provides
affordable meals, drinks, plus satellite TV, ice and snorkelling/diving
equipment. Fuel is also available on request.
There are many places of interest nearby and the area surrounding
Com Beach Resort has an abundance of bird life including everything
from eagles to parakeets. A population of monkeys can be found
at a nearby lagoon and East Timors largest inland lake
- Ira Lalaro is only a short drive away.
You can explore local villages where traditional customs and
rituals are still adopted today. A trip to the colourful markets
at Lospalos is a must, as is buying cheap fresh fish from
the friendly fishermen. Visit nearby caves with
fascinating tribal rock art, enjoy world-class diving and
snorkelling, plus take a boat trip or 4WD to the spectacular
beaches at Tutuala and Jaco Island. The white sands and azure
