Waidroka Bay Resort specializes in Surfing, Diving & Fishing with world-famous 'Frigates' & 'Pipe' breathtaking waves and Beqa Lagoon, one of the best dive locations in the Pacific. The Resort operates a fleet of 5 professionally equipped surf and dive boats, to ensure safe, comfortable and exciting boat trips to our surfing and diving spots.

Our Ocean Front Bungalows as well as the brand new Terrace Rooms offer comfortable accommodation with private shower/toilet, great views and private terraces to enjoy your early morning or evenings. For more budget oriented accommodation our lodge rooms and Dorm with ceiling fans and shared facilities offer great value.
Surfing in Fiji with Waidroka Bay Resort offers an incredible experience for beginners, intemediate and experienced surfers.
The trip to World Famous Frigates takes approx. 30 minutes and you travel in comfort. The surf trips to our local spots are all within 5-10 minutes from the resort. Boats remain with you while you enjoy surfing the waves. Between surf sets you can relax in the boat and enjoy lunch, snacks and drinks while watching the surf action. This is what surfing in Fiji is all about!
We use the "Fiji Explorer" or "Stingray" our brand new twin 90 HP for our surfing trips to Frigates. Fiji Explorer is a 30-foot catamaran style boat. It has a full roof, padded seats, and a toilet. Stingray is a brand new aluminum mono-hull with a 30-foot roof. We also use our boat Wave Hunter for some of the surfing trips. It is a 29-foot mono-hull with twin 60 HP motors and a 24-foot roof.
Our special location close to world famous Beqa lagoon and the amazing variety of local reefs offer an exceptional diving experience.
Waidroka Bay Dive Resort has it´s own ‘Dive Center' with continuously checked and well maintained equipment for dive groups of up to 20 divers at a time being able to perform 2 -3 dives a day at one of the many dive spots, either immediately outside the resort reef, or a short boat-ride away towards the world-famous ‘Beqa Lagoon' or ‘Beqa Passage'.
Our dive instructors are of highest standards, with Padi qualifications and know Fiji and the specific dive spots better than anyone, ensuring a great experience for all levels of scuba divers.

Fantastic World Class Scuba Diving and Snorkeling at World Famous “Beqa Passage” and “Beqa Lagoon” in clear warm water just minutes from our shore. Come explorer our abundant and unspoiled hard and soft corals and brilliantly colored walls. Whether diving through passages, caves, clearings, or the wreck of the “Tasu No.2” with visibility ranging from 50 to 150 feet you will have the opportunity to view sleeping sharks, rays, turtles, dolphins, and an incredible variety of fish. We have it all!
Our local reefs offer a multitude of sport-fishing catch while the open seas will give you the ultimate game-fishing thrill.
Charter our professional “Fishing Machine” equipped with twin engines and quality rods and reels. Fight big game fish with up to 3 friends on either a half day or a full day and bring back your trophy.
Enjoy a Sport fishing trip in the vicinity of the resort in our open fiberglass boat “Yammy”. Even inexperienced fishermen or women will enjoy the trip along our beautiful reefs and beaches. With a bit of luck you may return with a trevally, tuna or reef fish to the delight of the days dinner party.
