This stone was quarried locally, with some buildings dating back to the 1860s. Now occupied by banks, museums and art galleries. Architectural designers Forrester & Lemon and F.W. Petre William Mason have left their styles. Start with the St Patricks Bascilica viewed from your unit. The quarry, Parkside, can be toured by appointment, as can the gardens adjacent.
