LOCATION

The Bay Horse Hotel is situated on the edge of Wolsingham enjoying open views up the dale. The hotel briefly comprises of seven double bedrooms all with showers and washing facilities en-suite, together with colour television, coffee and tea-making facilities. Everything the discerning visitor needs to make his or her stay as comfortable as possible.

The hotel is close to Tunstall reservoir and the River Wear for fishing, Hamsterley Forest for naturalists and open country within walking distance of the hotel. Wolsingham offers a good base for touring this quiet and natural area.
Indeed Wolsingham has a charm of its own that is worth exploring. The village is located in a glorious setting with many delightful scenic walks and annual agricultural show is reputed to be the oldest in England.
