The Sudima Hotel Lake Rotorua, previously known as the Lake Plaza Rotorua, is the largest hotel in the area and enjoys a location that is second-to-none. We are set on the shores of beautiful Lake Rotorua, adjacent to the world famous Polynesian Spa complex and just a short stroll to all the attractions in Rotorua’s vibrant city centre, Convention Centre and Energy Event Centre.

Stay in the comfort of one of our 248 guest rooms, many with superb views across Lake Rotorua. We offer a Premium Suite, Superior Rooms, Standard Rooms or Family Rooms.

SUPERIOR TWIN DOUBLE

The well-appointed Superior Twin/ Double rooms sleep up to four persons in two Queen or Double Beds. Each bed has a bedside table and soft over-bed lighting. Your spacious Superior Room has a mini-bar, tea and coffee making facilities and complimentary teas and coffee for your refreshment. These rooms also include a colour TV with Sky TV and CNN.

SUPERIOR TRIPLE

Featuring three single beds, our Superior Triple rooms are the obvious choice for a small group or family. Each bed has its own bedside table and soft over-bed lighting. There is also a number of comfortable chairs and an occasional table in your Superior Triple room. A mini-bar, tea and coffee making facilities and complimentary teas and coffee are offered for your refreshment.

STANDARD TWIN DOUBLE

The Standard Rooms are our most cost-effective accommodation choice. Standard Twin/Double rooms all feature two Double or two King Single beds, ideal for a family holiday or business people travelling together. Your Standard Twin/Double Room has an ensuite with a shower and/or bath and complimentary toiletries are provided. Your room has comfortable chairs, an occasional table, a mini-fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and complimentary teas and coffee for your refreshment.

STANDARD FAMILY ROOM

The Standard Family Room is just perfect for your next group or family holiday – with a separate bedroom offering greater peace and privacy. The separate bedroom features two single beds, with soft-over bed lighting, a bedside table and a wardrobe. In the main living room you will find one King or Queen Bed and an additional single bed.

STANDARD FAMILY STUDIO

SUITE

Our premium accommodation is our Sudima Hotel Lake Rotorua Suite. The Suite features two rooms – a spacious bedroom and a separate living and dining room - and you will enjoy lovely views across Lake Rotorua from both rooms. The bedroom features a comfortable King Bed, with a bedside table and soft over-bed lighting.

Lakes Restaurant

The perfect start or end to a day exploring Rotorua is a divine meal in our signature restaurant. Lakes Restaurant will delight with first-class service and a fresh approach to top-quality dining. You will always find prime New Zealand meats and fresh seafood on the a la Carte menu, artfully prepared with the finest seasonal ingredients. Our menu offers something for everyone, from Pacific Rim dishes to vegetarian options and international cuisine.

Mallard Bar

Mallards Bar is open every day from 4pm till late (with ‘happy hour’ drink specials from 5.30pm – 6.30pm). Sample award-winning wines, New Zealand and imported beers and spirits, great espresso coffee and non-alcoholic selections.

POOL AND PRIVATE SPA

Guests love our open-air swimming pool, heated by Mother Nature (natural geothermal heat) to exquisite temperatures.

If you’d like more privacy, we have three separate spa pools. Simply book a half-hour time at reception and collect your spa room key.

Our swimming pool and private spa pools are open daily from 6.30am to 10.00pm and are free for all guests to enjoy as often as they wish. Fluffy pool towels are available at reception.

MASSAGE SERVICE

After an exhaustingly brilliant day at work or play in Rotorua, treat yourself to a rejuvenating massage therapy or hot stone treatment.

Massages are available every day between 10am and 12 midday and again between 2pm and 9:30pm.
