Standard Room
The rooms are all fitted with the most elegant and stylish quality fixtures and furnishings, from the marble in the bathrooms to the ceramic vases and lamps in the bedrooms.
A refurbishment of all rooms was carried out late in 2006 has ensured a continuation of the Millennium's high standards and reputation.
Standard rooms have 1 queen sized bed, and as with all rooms and suites in the hotel, offers full facilities that include mini-bar and refrigerator, 32 inch LCD colour television, movies, voicemail, broadband, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, tea & coffee making facilities, working desk, and fully individually controlled in-room air conditioning.
Most rooms are non-smoking with only limited smoking rooms available on the third floor of the hotel.
There are 8 wheelchair access rooms also available which have a split king bed that can be utilised as a king or 2 single beds. The hotel also offers 4 triple rooms with 2 double beds and 1 single bed.
Superior Room

Superior rooms all offer superb open views of the Cathedral Square. These rooms are extremely spacious with over 40 square meters allocated to each room. Twin superior rooms offer 2 queen sized beds and king superior rooms offer 1 king sized bed.

7 Junior Suites and 10 Executive Suites catering for the top end of the market offer a luxurious and spacious environment, with a deluxe king size bed, 42" plasma television, stereo with CD and DVD payer, elegant lounge and occasional furniture, double spa baths, complimentary bathrobes and evening turndown service.
Junior Suites are open plan with wrap around windows on the Cathedral Square corners of the hotel.
Executive Suites have seperate lounge and dining areas with a full size dining table, twin bathroom, and being located just across from the Cathedral, has uncompromising views of the Christchurch icon.
