Tipping
It is customary to leave a tip of between 10_15% in restaurants and for a taxi driver depending on the quality of service. If the gratuity is included in your receipt, you don't need to give tips. When you do give a tip, it is a polite way to give bills and not loose change coins.

Health Risks
Drinking water: Drinking water from the tap is not recommended in the Mariana Islands. Bottled mineral water can be purchased at any shop, convenience store, or supermarket. Water is a fairly precious commodity since there is no natural fresh water spring or waterfall on the islands.
