Stevenson's is a beautiful resort offering accommodation both on the beach and within a garden setting. The on the beach bungalows cater to the top end of the market and offer not just fantastic views of the ocean from your own patio, but contain the luxuries you'd expect in an upper end facility. They have en-suite toilets and air conditioning.
They also have outdoor showers within your own private lava rock walled courtyard. The Garden rooms while essentially aimed at the budget traveller still boast en-suite facilities and the private open shower. They also have fans and a wonderful lush tropical garden surrounding you. While not on the beach it is literally a minute walk to be on the golden sand.
The most luxurious units here are five air-conditioned villas by the beach. Leaf exteriors and siapo-lined ceilings make these houses look rustic, but they are relatively modern, and have outdoor hot-water showers enclosed by rock walls.
The Restaurant Fale can easily seat more than 50 people. The ceiling of this fale is covered in Tapa, material made from the bark of the mulberry plant. Check out the intricate designs made with the coconut sennit and the carvings around this beautiful Fale.
Dining is a la carte and Room service upon request. Stevenson's Bar: At the centre of the Main fale is a smaller fale that houses the bar, complete with cocktails, spirits and other cold drinks. The Staff String Band provides the entertainment with Floorshow on selected nights.
