Clean lines, bright touches on bedspreads : the vibrant décor of these rooms brings nature indoors. Similarly the terrace doors, flung wide, seem to merge rooms with the lush gardens beyond. Sleep tight in generous queen or twin-size beds. And in the bathroom you'll find a spacious bath, a glass tiled shower, two washbasins and a separate toilet.

A queen-size bed. Bold splashes of colour and rich wooden finishes. Some would say it's dramatic. These rooms also happen to have an iPod dock so you can play your favourite tunes, along with direct beach front access and stunning views over the Indian Ocean. Deluxe Family Room (59m²)
These spacious rooms are interconnecting, making them ideal for families with children, and have a private terrace and comfy furnishings throughout. The bathroom, overflowing with natural light, features a separate bath and shower. The option of a bunk bed is also a favourite with kids.

Choose from romantic candlelit dinners under the stars to theatrical culinary shows where wood fired pizza and local delicacies play the leading attraction, culminating in moody cocktails and exotic aperitifs for late night revellers. Let the performance begin.
Show (7 a.m to 10 a.m / 7 p.m to 10 p.m)
The main restaurant, Show offers buffet breakfasts and dinners. The open kitchen will add a spark of excitement to your night, as you watch the chefs flamboyantly preparing a range of dishes. Fresh fruits, salads and pizza are perennially popular, while three other food stations focus on European, South-East Asian and either Indian or Lebanese cuisines. And when you've had your fill, you may want to extend your focus to a nightcap at Playa Beach Bar.
Playa (noon to 3 p.m / 7 p.m to 10 p.m )
As the name suggests, you can get up to all sorts of mischief here. In a relaxed al fresco setting, listen to the sounds of the ocean, wriggle your toes in the sand, and successfully navigate the Mediterranean-inspired menu. There is also a popular set-menu option featured once a week, complimented by an inventive selection of cocktails and local rums. In the evenings, dinners are an à la carte feast.
B Bar (9 a.m to midnight)
Here you'll find a bright and cheerful lounge, with steel and glass fittings, armchairs around the bar and a bit of dancing. Show up for lunch to munch on original appetizers, such as raspberry gaspacho or Thai prawns with ginger and lemon comfits. By nightfall, consider making your presence felt around the bar, where you'll get to know some excellent Mauritian rums and other alluring concoctions.
Jalsa Night Club
If you're planning on leading the kind of evening that requires a cocktail or three, then head to Jalsa night club. Tamassa is the first beach resort in the South to have its own club and late night partygoers can expect cool beats, decadent black leather seating, over-sized red cushions and lots of mirrors.

It's not a truly perfect island holiday unless you're being served deliciously refreshing treats while lounging beside the pool, ocean or in the comfort of your room. Make the most of your stay with our beach and room service facilities.
If you'd like to enjoy a little privacy, either with your partner or perhaps an intimate party for family and friends, Tamassa offers an array of private dining alternatives to make your meal extra special. Enjoy a secluded soiree or a sumptuous lunch for two on the beach.
At Tamassa, we don't do ordinary. All of our entertainment is performed by genuine, enthusiastic and highly talented dancers, musicians and artists of every kind. From the rhythmic beat of the Mauritian Sega to the very best local music troupes and performers, every evening is an opportunity to experience something new and truly authentic.
Although there's no particular dress code during the day, we do ask you not to wear uncovered swimming attire in the restaurant during breakfast time. Evening wear is smart-casual after 6pm. And gentlemen, no flip-flops or shorts in the restaurants and bars during dinnertime please.

Embracing the concept of The Tamassa Hotel, SENSES is based on an integration of Mauritian Island ambiance and contemporary style. From the moment the guests enter the Spa, they breathe and feel an atmosphere of upliftment and revival, while cocooned in beauty and serenity. The luxury Spa Suites and spacious Spa garden makes it an ideal setting to “Spa Together”. Whether it is for a relaxing romantic moment for two, a group or a special individual treatment, the spa concept has been conceived to host and bespoke guests’ perfect spa experiences.
A wide range of treatments and massages are available and our highly trained therapists are at the disposal of guests. Parents may spa together, whilst their children are safely enjoying themselves in the Kids Club; ‘Tilapia’.
SPORTS AND LEISURE
There are days when it is difficult to decide whether to laze by the 3 swimming pools or lounge on the beach. The Tamassa’s pools are so inviting that activity can almost seem a challenge. But there is plenty to do to keep days varied and entertaining.
Free of charge: windsurfing, aqua gym, pedal boats, kayaks, sailing, snorkelling, glass-bottom-boat rides and water-skiing.
For a fee: speedboat rides, diving (PADI) and deep-sea fishing, for which Mauritius is famous.

Night-Club - Jalsa
For youngsters, and the not-so-young too, Tamassa has its own lively Disco.
Kids Club - Tilapia
A circular building houses the Kids Club, which is next to the tennis courts. It has a large amphitheatre-shaped space, a dining room on the terrace, 2 internet-access screens, a sandpit and a rest room. The Club is air-conditioned and is for children between 3 and 12.
They are looked after by qualified staff who organise activities from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. each day. A baby sitting service is available on request for a fee.
Teens Club - Baz
The Teens club, for older youngsters, has games machines, a billiard table and table football, as well as organised activities.
Naiade also propose a wonderful course to Golf Lovers in partnership with the Tamarina Golf, Spa & Beach Club. Standing on the sunny west coast of Mauritius, Tamarina Golf Club boasts one of the finest golf courses on the island. This unique 206-hectare estate, named after the tamarind trees common to the area, is fully dedicated to the art of living.
The landscaping of holes and surrounds has been contracted to an international team and the holes have been specially designed to give spectacular views of Mount Rempart and the towering mountain range. Golfers will love the contrast between the rough surroundings and the smoothness of the rolling greens and wide fairways that adds to the experience of Tamarina Golf Course.
After a sensational golf experience, you may also relax at the Beach Club “La Madrague”, which offers spectacular views over Tamarin Bay, famous for surfing and dolphins.
Honeymooners are given a special welcome, with gifts of a tee-shirt for the groom and pareo for the bride, as well as a complimentary bowl of fruit on arrival.
On wedding days, the Resort offers a wedding cake and a special marriage menu, as well, of course, as a bottle of bubbly. The morning after, there is a special breakfast on your own terrace.
To make their holiday even more romantic, honeymooners and wedding couples can opt for a whole range of extras, including a horse-drawn carriage, candlelit dinners on the beach, Sega dancers and French champagne. To make the wedding day perfect, you can also add sessions in the Spa, a manicure and pedicure and a leisurely hour or two with the hairdresser. Certain formalities need to be completed, please always inform us at the time of booking.
